Recording
There are three options for capturing your music or audio. My home studio, the studio at Loyola University of MD where I teach or I could possibly come to you and record remotely with my mobile rig.
Production
I spent nearly 25 years in the computer and video game industry and much of that time was both as a producer and the manager of the audio department. I can help you get your project together, find studio musicians locally or remotely, and get your idea from inception to finished project.
Mixing
Mixing is the next step and usually includes editing and tuning as part of the package. Mixes are also quick-mastered so they sound competitively loud with all major streaming services.
Editing and Tuning
If you're doing something that doesn't require a lot of mixing but still need help with editing and tuning I can help with that as well. Podcasts, audiobooks, etc., could all benefit from fast and efficient editing.
Mastering
While there is a quick master as part of mixing, I generally believe that mixing should be a separate step and requires a different DAW environment to truly make it its own step and do the end product justice.
Education
I have been a lifelong learner and educator and currently teach the recording studio classes at Loyola University of MD. The blog on this site will not only update you on happenings at Barking Canine Audio but will also offer opportunities to learn new techniques and approaches.
